Originally established in 1999 as Holiday Autos South Africa, the company was re-launched as Car Hire Brokers after the sale of the holiday autos brand name by parent company, Travelocity Global. We have since joined forces with Ofran, one of the leading car rental brokers in Europe serving millions of people around the world. This venture is a 50/50 partnership with locally-based monolith, Imperial Holdings. Ofran has successful branches in Israel, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Cyprus, and for over 15 years had a joint venture agreement with Holiday Autos International.
We offer car rental solutions in over 60 countries and 6000 rental stations around the world, through a wide range of well established brand names such as Alamo, Europcar, National, Budget, Avis, Hertz, and many more.
Our business model is based on fully inclusive prices with absolutely no hidden costs. All prices are fully inclusive of mileage, all compulsory insurances, taxes and surcharges. Rental costs are prepaid in fixed Rand amounts to give peace of mind against fluctuating exchange rates.

Debit/Cheque card rentals: Select suppliers now accept local debit/cheque cards for the mandatory security deposit – certain conditions do apply i.e. card needs raised digits etc. so please check with our call centre staff at time of booking.
Cash rentals: available at the following domestic airports and subject to the suppliers’ pre-approval: Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Walk-in business NOT accepted; clients must arrive and depart on a flight. Flight number and driver mobile number required to confirm the reservation.
