COVID-19 REGULATIONS FOR NETHERLANDS AND FRANCE


SOUTH AFRICA

 

·          Health Requirement for departing South Africa

·         A completed SA Health Declaration form:

NETHERLANDS

 

·         Health and quarantine requirement for passengers with the Netherlands as a final destination ·        A negative PCR test taken no more than 24 hours before boarding

OR

A negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours prior to boarding AND a negative Antigen test taken no more than 24 hours prior to boarding

·         A completed Quarantine Declaration form (even if the passenger is exempt from quarantine):

·         A mandatory quarantine period of 10 days which can be shortened after 5 days, subject to another negative PCR test result

 

·         Health requirement for passengers transiting the Netherlands

FRANCE

 

·         Health and quarantine requirement for passengers with France as a final destination

 

If vaccinated (*EMA recognized):   

o   A Sworn Statement confirming that they do not have Covid-19:

(*Pfizer/Comirnaty, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Vaxzevria/Covishield, Janssen)

Passengers who present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate demonstrating that at least 28 days have elapsed since the first dose of Janssen vaccine or 7 days have elapsed since the second dose of the Pfizer-Biontech, AstraZeneca or Moderna vaccine, and minors accompanying one or more vaccinated adult passengers.

 

If not vaccinated

o   A negative PCR Test or Negative Antigen test not older than 48 hours prior to departure

o   Antigen test on arrival

o   10 days quarantine controlled by health and safety officials

NB:            It is the responsibility of the traveller to check all documentation required for their country of departure, transit and destination.  Due to constant regulation changes, it is advisable to check all documentation required closer to the departure date.

 

There's an app you can download called Health Passport Worldwide. Fill in your vaccination details and send them the documents they require, and within a few days, you will receive a QR code and your vaccine status. Hopefully, this is acceptable.
